Hello there, I’m Allie

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified in Sex Therapy, offering experiential and somatic therapy that honors both mind and body. I am grateful to offer mental health services in Georgia and Michigan. I’ve graduated with honors from The University of Mercer School of Medicine with my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy and received my certification in Sex Therapy from The American Board of Sexology; American College of Sexologists.

I especially enjoy working with neurodivergent (“neurospicy”) folks, individuals living with chronic pain, and those navigating the effects of complex trauma.

Therapy doesn’t have to feel clinical or overwhelming. My approach is grounded in empathy, gentleness, and deep respect for your lived experience. Before I’m a therapist, I’m a human who believes healing happens best when you feel safe, seen, and supported.

Whether we’re exploring relationships, intimacy, or your connection with yourself, our work moves at a pace that supports your nervous system and your unique needs. You don’t need to have everything figured out—we’ll take it one step at a time, together.

What does working with me look like?

I believe it is my job as a therapist to create a safe, non judgmental space for you and your partner(s) to navigate what growth and healing can look like for you. During our time together, we will have gentle conversations around how I can support you and what healing means for you and your relationships. I work alongside clients as a resource for growth and relational repair. It isn’t my jam to “rip bandages off” or make you go somewhere you aren’t ready to go. I enjoy incorporating somatic movement and nurturing that mind, body connection. So often we struggle to connect to our bodies; I believe integrating somatic experiences is a resource for healing. I may gently challenge you and I always promise to approach your experiences through curiosity and with empathy.

As a therapist, I believe in meeting you where you are at and seeing what comes up along our journey. I am here to navigate with you. I view the therapeutic process as a collaborative effort. I believe for change and growth to happen it is important to cultivate a safe, nurturing relationship between therapist and client(s).
